Fear God and Nothing Else

When Jesus crosses into Gentile territory, He’s met by a legion of demons who immediately recognize His divine authority. With a single command, the unclean spirits flee, and the man once enslaved to darkness sits restored at Jesus’ feet. Even the powers of darkness submit to the Son of the Most High—showing that to fear God is to fear nothing else.  

That man’s next act is obedience: he becomes a messenger to the Decapolis, proclaiming what Christ has done. His example reminds us that every believer is called to the same posture of faith—to go where Jesus sends, speak what He commands, and trust that His power over every storm and spirit still stands.
